Alien Registration Cards (Green Cards) or. A passport or travel document, valid for the duration of stay in Jamaica. Nationals or citizens of other countries (with the exception of TAIWAN) who are permanent residents of the United States may enter Jamaica as tourists without visas, but must travel with the following in their possession: Frequent travelers to Jamaica should note that once the cumulative number of days exceed 180 days in a calendar year, they are required to obtain a visa from the nearest Jamaican Consular mission or post, prior to being re-admitted into Jamaica. Travelers are also advised that the period of stay is granted at the discretion of the Jamaican Immigration authorities. Copies certified by a Notary Public will not be accepted. Such documents must be the original birth and adoption certificates. The decision in respect of admission and length of stay in the country rests with the Immigration Officer at the port of entry in Jamaica. Nationals of Counties that are eligible for visas at the Port of Entry are required to pay a fee of U$100.00 upon arrival in Jamaica. 
For nationals of counties that require visas prior to arrival in Jamaica, if the person travels to Jamaica without obtaining a visa, then the applicable fee at the Port of Entry is U$350.00. This is normally issued, on application, by a Jamaican Consular Office. Nationals of certain countries require, in addition to travel documents, an entry visa. Visitors are also required to show evidence of sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay and be in possession of a return or round trip ticket to another country to which they are admissible. The passport or other travel document must be valid for the period of intended stay in the island. Visitors are required to be in possession of a national passport or other acceptable travel document establishing nationality and identity, and bearing a photograph.
