Heavy diff oil in the center diff will still get the front wheels to pull off the ground but with the kind of power that you get from 6s it will eat up your front tires for sure.Gr86 ecu tuning. The center diff is a lot higher maintainence and a PITA to get to when its time for it. Nice to see a nice setup for the diff cups hope they work for the revo! That with some aluminum outer cases should save the diffs. My ERevo has the 2200 monster system in it and a stupid center diff. My summit has a 1700 tekin T8 and a zerun 150a esc and it gets 6s use. These are found on the 1/16 Traxxas Summit, and when fitted to an E-Revo, they extend the wheelbase by 1 cm. LEM says they are working on new ring and pinions too, those will be interchangeable I think. With high power the plastic diff cups deform and stuff pops like those gears not to mention the ring gear moves a bit allowing them to run I the outside and can cause skipping. I have the rear diff cup and gears ordered for my summit and I know there are differences between the two trucks as I have a revo as well. There is a place that sells hardened diff gears for the summit that are supposed to work in the Erevos.
I have seen people on other forums saying where to put the BEC, which side on the battery leads from the Mamba Monster do I put it on? How do I find out which side is meant for the BEC? I heard it does matter because I could kill the esc and I can't afford that. I don't want a plastic driveshaft busting and having to take it off rather just go ahead and put the steel ones on their. Then I am buying traxxas steel driveshafts (4) and then the center driveshafts front/rear. Oh and I said I will change to deans but I am sticking with the traxxas connectors (I will just need a adapter to fit my charger). I will use the stock tires till they go bad or ripped up. Where do you find the RPM a-arms? I looked all over ebay and other websites like, and so on but I guess I will need to buy from RPM's main website. As some of you guys said I will not put the long arm suspension set-up just because as you said that it is not to great for the handling. I guess I will order some RPM a-arms, and I haven't got my Gens ace yet but they should be hear soon. In this video I install Hot Racing differential housings + pinions into my 1/16 scale mini erevo VXL Brushless. I am changing my servo though to a Savox 1230sg (500 oz. Had a few problems setting up my slipper clutch so i went for the upgraded one, that's more my error though. Traxxas 1/16 E-Revo VXL Parts, Traxxas E-Revo VXL Spare Optional Upgrade Parts & 1:16 E-Revo VXL Replacement Parts in stock. No point going for the steel shafts with RPM arms though as they bend.
The stock tyres weren't taped so they split (Cars a good laugh on 4S and a riot on 6S)ĭrive shafts are a weak spot on 6S though, i've fitted Summit shafts and found them to be a little stronger. You'll find out yourself, but i wouldn't bother with the long travel, just makes what is a very stable car fall over alot. Went for alloy front skid plates as it['s really rocky here and the plastic ones disintegrate in one bashing session

Goes well on Nimh batteries, but is an absolute nutter on lipos Traxxas genuine light kit.
